The present communication approaches, from a comparative perspective, the integration of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the educational European systems. Concretely, the analysis deals with Germany, Spain, Finland, France and United Kingdom as units of comparison. In this context, this paper tries to offer diverse perspectives about the integration of ICT in the educational European systems, attending to basic aspects as the technological equipment, the teacher’s training and the use of the technologies in the schools. It is necessary to emphasize that the results show that there are no relation between better equipment or a better technological training and an increased use of the technologies.
