ABSTRACT
The discourse of employability is the central axis of the new training model of higher education in which the skills of career management are considered constituent part. This study is part of a broader research, on employability and career management of graduates in Pedagogy. The article presents the results of a qualitative study whose main objective is to deepen the knowledge of the paths and career management processes of professionals in pedagogy, as well as their fields of action. 26 semi-structured interviews have been conducted with professionals in the field of pedagogy, in relation to their experiences at the time of moving into the labour market and to their later career paths. The results show the relevance of the skills of career management in its construction and professional path. In conclusion, we reflect on the importance of including in university training the work from models of career management to contribute to employability.
