Abstract

This article's goal is to present, through a practical case analysis, a device for the detection and organization of intervention actions in educational guidance in compulsory secondary education (junior and middle high school); namely, the Pareto Analysis. At this educational level, school counsellors are immersed in a complex series of demands or problems, many of which fall within the scope of their functions. The purpose of this device is to contribute to identify, define, and outline these demands, as well as to establish their priority, derived from this analysis; thus helping to classify and accommodate them within programs or actions which contribute to solve them.
