Abstract

ABSTRACT

The main goal of this study is to detect some predictive indicators through future driving instructors’ predisposition to apply, a preventative program based on attitude changes, within their theory classes, in order to reduce traffic accidents by improving learner’s attitudes. After applying a questionnaire to know instructors’ intentions to apply the program, the results have been analyzed through the logistic regression methodology to generate some prognostications about differences between them in applying the program of once a month at a minimum. The identification of some indicators which predict the driving instructors’ predisposition allow to introduce future career guidance actions within their formative process in Catalonia in order to improve their skills and attitudes towards facing professional future changes and benefit to form the reduction of traffic accidents.
