ABSTRACT
This paper proposes to show results from an assessment procedure of external work practices of educational students (Psychopedagogy) based on a competency-based training model with a greater implication and participation by the mentors of the centers. This implication is specified in the participation of 102 mentors in the selection and evaluation of general and specific skills acquired during the training and the corresponding description of the learning outcomes related with them. According to the mentors, the competencies developed in external practices are: applying diagnostic techniques, designing educational materials and designing Psycho-educational interventions. The development of certain skills related to assessment, innovation and counseling is inadequate. It would be necessary to improve communication with mentors.
