ABSTRACT

Telematic networks allow guidance counsellors to share ideas and large amounts of information on issues relevant to their professions. The enormous amount of work carried out in their workplaces gives rise to many documents, materials or resources of great interest to other guidance counsellors and a range of other professionals. However, because of the lack of communication and exchange channels among professionals, these materials are underused. The Guidance and Vocational Counselling Wiki fills this gap in the form of a collaborative hypertext environment, accessible through the Internet, in which all guidance counsellors and vocational advisers can share ideas, find useful material and resources for their work, and actively participate by adding and editing present and future content.
