Abstract

ABSTRACT

Beyond present models, academic and scientific studies; there is a new reality with that brings new values and behaviors that encourage the difference and the traditional way of understanding and studying the different, but it is also a social innovation that can encourage a truly inclusive society. This article aims to help all professionals and educators (competent authorities, parents, teachers, etc.) to expand the perception of what it means to educate and diversity in a society like today. Analyze the differences and similarities between integration, multiculturalism, inclusive education and diversity in education as keys in a multicultural society. Arise for recommendations of some international and European education authorities, and in particular the focus is in the case of Spain, as a country with extensive experience in diverse and multicultural student, undertaking a critical analysis of the performance in their classrooms in recent years and nowadays. The basic principles and specific methodological key to promote various educational contexts are discussed. Also some limitations and future research perspectives of interest are approached.
