Iberoamerican Review of Digital Education (RIED)

RIED-Revista Iberoamericana de Educación a Distancia is a biannual, open access scientific journal, bilingual (since 2024) reviewed by blind peers and edited by the Iberoamerican Association of Higher Distance Education (AIESAD). RIED promotes the international dissemination of advances in research and development in the context of open and distance teaching/learning, e-learning and educational technology, preferably in university contexts. RIED does not have any article submission charges or article processing charges (APCs).

In Volume 27(2) of RIED, a special issue on "Collaborative Learning in Virtual Environments" is presented. This type of learning involves training for technology-mediated collaboration through a pedagogical approach, aiming to improve individual learning through group interaction and to develop a culture of collaboration. The special issue includes eight articles that address the topic from various perspectives. Additionally, this issue features another eight papers in the "Studies and Research" section, offering diverse viewpoints that are always aligned with RIED's objectives, inviting debate and the construction of new knowledge.
