In accordance with the provisions of the current Personal Data Protection Regulations, we inform you that the data provided on this website will be processed, as Data Controller, by the UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE EDUCACIÓN A DISTANCIA (UNED).

The purpose of the data processing is the management of research and scientific dissemination through the RIED – Ibero-American Journal of Distance Education, including the registration and management of readers, authors, and reviewers, as well as the editorial workflow of submitted articles.

The processing activity to which this applies is “Research, Transfer, and Scientific Dissemination”, under the responsibility of the Technical Secretary of RIED (contact email: secretec.ried@edu.uned.es).

The lawful bases for processing your data are: the consent of the data subject, the performance of a contractual relationship, and the fulfilment of a task carried out in the public interest (Article 6.1.e of the GDPR).

Likewise, the data will be used to send information, by any means, regarding the purposes described above.

Your data will not be transferred to third parties, except in cases necessary for the proper management, development, control, and fulfilment of the stated purposes, as well as in the cases provided for by current legislation. International data transfers to universities and academic organisations are foreseen, based on agreements or contractual clauses, strictly necessary for academic peer review and editorial processes.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, or objection before UNED, Data Protection Section, Calle Bravo Murillo 38, 28015 Madrid, or at any of the official registry assistance offices, together with additional information and the form available at the Data Protection Office or through UNED’s Electronic Headquarters.
