Since the arrival of the Internet in Spain in the 1990s, digital technologies have demonstrated their multitude and diversity of applications in various fields, including education. We use the concept of advanced technologies to refer to the latest technological developments within the field of digital technologies, including both software and hardware developments. In this paper, we review some relevant and interesting works related to this topic of advanced technologies.
