Abstract

ABSTRACT

The article starts with a psychopedagogical conceptualization of the family in order to understand it as an educative and learning context for human development. The Ecological model of Bronfenbrenner has been taken into account as a reference to understand family diversity and family needs, which can be detected through an evaluation process. Results from this process have been exemplified by enclosing information about needs identified by parents, children and teachers in a family-school partnership research. Moreover, information about parents needs and expectations of receiving parenting training, as well as indicators, results and limitations of training programs for parents, has been included.
