The case study technique, conceived as a teaching tool, is based on the representation of an educational situation as the starting point for reflection and learning. The implementation of the technique with university students, provides training in the elaboration of viable solutions to possible conflicting situations that they could face in their future as professionals in the field of education. In the research design we presented the proposed objectives, the methodology - the strategy used was the triangulation of the data-, the analysis, presentation and discussion of the findings, and the conclusions.
