Abstract

ABSTRACT

The difficulties in accessing the labor market have increased considerably in recent times, not only because of the demands of training and experience on workers, but also due to the current situation of social and economic instability. This descriptive study examines the degree of centrality attributed to work and appreciates the extent to which socioeconomic variables influence the degree of stability of the professional and life project (hereinafter PPV) and the decisions made by unemployed adults. The results show that in times of socio-economic crisis, there is a tendency to instability of the goals of PPV due to the need to comply with the conditions and possibilities of the social and working context.
