Abstract

The generation of 1927 in the Andalusian capital had its constitutive act as such literary group. The Ateneo de Sevilla knew then articulate a bold, avant-garde cultural proposal, which managed to connect the city with the most advanced panorama Spanish and European literature.

Author Biography

Miguel Cruz Giráldez, Universidad de Sevilla

Doctor en Filología Hispánica por la Universidad de Sevilla y profesor de Lengua y Literatura en dicha universidad y del I.E.S. Fernando de Herrera de Sevilla. Entre sus publicaciones podemos destacar Estampas Sevillanas del Ochocientos, junto a Rogelio Reyes Cano (Sevilla: Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, 2006), Antología (Sevilla: Colegio Oficial de Aparejadores y Arquitectos Técnicos de Sevilla, 2000), o Sevilla y García Lorca (Sevilla: Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, 1998).
