This paper analyses the transformations experienced by the medieval architecture scene in the Priorato de Uclés during the sixteenth century, focusing on the reform process that the parish churches of Dosbarrios and Villanueva de Alcardete underwent. These two buildings had originally the same structural model, but they were rebuilt following completely different approaches. Logically, for this analysis, not only have other researchers’ studies been examined, but also a significant amount of documentation that had remained unpublished until now has been used.Downloads
