EXPERIENCES WITH MULTIMEDIA IN DISTANCE PROGRAMS

Abstract

The application of the New Technologies into distance education programs set a lot of questions, especially in relation with the characteristics of the social and cultural environment in which these programs are developed. The possibilities of the New Technology for teaching and learning demand beginning of researches that would help us to incorporate this New Technology in the future. The paper presents our experiences in the confection of multimedia application and its use, in an experimental form for our students of the specialty of History in a multimedia instructional design. Finally, in the paper 1 discus the main results obtained and describe our future projects with multimedia.
