Reaching an Insight is a key element of the assimilation process. It reflects a high level and progress in assimilation. In relation to schizophrenia, the Insight is a key issue, as it may be related with different meta-cognitive impairments. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to qualitatively analyze, through narratives, the Insights of a schizophrenic subject. Those Insights, in a subject who showed no progress in the assimilation of his problematic experiences, may facilitate making some reflections about the assimilation model. Therefore, as it is emphasized in the Discussion, some of those Insights could be considered as “pseudo-insights”, which will not reflect, contrary to the initial model formulation, a progress in assimilation.
