The Peninsular War was reflected on the Goya’s art as a representation of a timeless and vain drama. Women, who performed very important roles during the conflict, appeared with a novel image in Goya’s paintings. In his point of view, women were victims, heroines and member of a blind people who take part of the unleashed violence.
