Towards a cognitive theory of the therapeutic relationship

Abstract

This paper considers the therapeutical relationship as an emotional and informative one. It develops the concept of therapeutic neo-structure and stablishes the conditions for the therapist validation. It defends, ultimately, that the specialized neo-structures in construing the therapist become the self-reflexive point of view of the client.
