The aim of the article was to show that neurotic paradoxes are generated in situations that by their nature tend to intolerance. We have seen a clinical case of an approach-avoidance conflict. We have seen the case of a patient who oscillated for years to establish an approach-avoidance link, because he was not able to appreciate the differences between more or less severe losses. Then, analyzing the reason why the patient has failed, over the years, to articulate his affective objectives in order to be able to discriminate the value of the different losses.Downloads
