Revisión sistemática de la investigación en psicoterapia grupoanalítica

Resumen

Introducción: el grupoanálisis es una orientación terapéutica centrada en la intervención grupal, sin una estructura de contenido estipulada, existiendo una elevada variabilidad entre grupos. Pocos estudios analizan la eficacia de la intervención grupal y una menor cantidad utilizan la orientación grupoanalítica. Objetivo: realizar una revisión sistemática de los estudios de investigación publicados que utilizan el grupoanálisis en una población de pacientes. Metodología: se efectuó una búsqueda exhaustiva con las siguientes bases de datos: PsychINFO, PubMed, Scielo y PubPsych. Resultados: se han seleccionado un total de 32 estudios, analizando un total de 1326 pacientes. En 35% de los estudios eran descriptivos, un 6% cualitativos y un 59% cuantitativos. El tratamiento oscilaba entre 5 sesiones y 10 años, su duración y frecuencia variaba mucho entre investigaciones. Conclusiones: se observa gran disparidad en las metodologías y muestras empleadas en los diferentes estudios, dificultando así su análisis y la posibilidad de comparar sus resultados con otras perspectivas teóricas. En todas las intervenciones, la aplicación del grupoanálisis obtiene beneficios terapéuticos. Futuras investigaciones que aplicasen una metodología común podrían facilitar la interpretación y extrapolación de los resultados.
