Margarita Gómez Gómez, Departamento de Historia Medieval y Ciencias y Técnicas Historiográficas, Universidad de Sevilla

Profesora Titular Acreditada a Cátedra de Ciencias Técnicas Historiográficas en la Facultad de Geografía e Historia de la Universidad de Sevilla. Investigadora Principal del Proyecto de Investigación de Excelencia SEYRE “El sello y registro de Indias: la imagen representativa del monarca en el gobierno de América” (P09 HUM 5174). Pertenece al Grupo de investigación Calamus (HUM-131. “Escritura y Libro en Sevilla en la Edad Media y Moderna" y al Proyecto de Investigación I+D+i HICOES “Cultura jurisdiccional y orden constitucional en España y América (siglos XVIII-XIX)” (www.hicoes.org/). Miembro del Instituto Internacional de Historia del Derecho Indiano desde el año 2005. Su línea de investigación principal ha sido la historia del documento y la Diplomática de la época moderna, con especial interés por el estudio de la producción, uso y el valor de la escritura, el documento y el sello real en el gobierno de América.
