Abstract

The use of information and communication technologies in the teaching and learning process has proven to be efficient in subjects that are difficult to understand such as mathematics and science, for this reason, a multiplatform application with mixed reality that presents the main geometrical shapes studied in basic education has been developed. Geometría aumentada is an educational resource open to the general public, designed for elementary and secondary school students who wish to reinforce the knowledge acquired in the classrooms, it has definitions, as well as formulas to get the area and volume of each
shape. This application is adapted to the different screen sizes of current devices, from a high-definition computer to a smartphone, and is compatible with the latest version of the main web browsers.
