In this paper realizes the scandal that erupted in New Spain in the years 1729-1731, under the rule of the famous Viceroy Marqués de Casa Fuerte, when a fake royal seal was found, as well as a series of bonds blank with the signature of the king and his closest collaborators from Puebla were trading. Although this is clearly a crime against majesty, the forger found the strong defense of the ecclesiastical hierarchy, which consequently led to an angry confrontation between the temporal and spiritual powers that led, as expected, in a war excommunications and resources force.
