Abstract:The increasing complexity of the current problems of societies, have
changed the perception of citizens that fells in permanent risk. Citizens
are highly sensitized to the risks to which they are exposed. This
situation has significantly changed the way in which governmental
administrations must face the complex process of political decision
making, especially in time of economic and financial crisis. The purpose
of this paper is to analyze the real impact of the risk calculation
in a political and administrative level. At the same time there is an
open debate about new scientific ways to analyze political responsibilities
for mismanagement or poor control of risks involved in every
decision policy.
