In this academic survey, a group of constitutional law professors respond to a series of questions regarding the challenges posed by new realities in the area of fundamental rights. These challenges include the emergence of new needs that require fundamental legal protection, the advisability of reforming the catalogues of rights in order to update them, the task of the constitutional court as the supreme interpreter of the constitution and rights, and the tools at its disposal. The survey also explores the task that may fall to the legislator in recognizing new areas of protection.
