Abstract

Forced marriage is a manifestation of violence against women that has been little addressed in Spain, except for Catalonia. This qualitative research identifies five good practices related to the institutional, welfare and police approach to this reality in this Autonomous Community which, with the appropriate improvements, could be implemented throughout Spain to favour the surfacing and adequate treatment of women’s victimisation by forced marriage in Spain.
