El edificio construido para albergar la Biblioteca Central de la UNED puede ser leído desde varias perspectivas. La lectura tipológica de la evolución histórica de los edificios dedicados a esta finalidad, de las innovaciones que los nuevos sistemas de acceso a la información han supuesto y de la nueva función social de las bibliotecas. Desde el punto de vista formal la lectura se encuadra en la forma de hacer arquitectura de Linazasoro para quien la tradición y la innovación tienen múltiples contactos y conflictos. Por último, la lectura simbólica del edificio, tanto de su deriva como emblema de la UNED como desde los guiños icónicos que el autor incorpora a la forma y función.Downloads
