This article explains the accreditation process for an expert psychologist in Psychomotricity, promoted by the School of Psychology of Catalonia, in its policy of encouraging the development of competence necessary to respond to the different demands and needs that may be presented to a psychologist who is an expert in psychomotor skills in the exercise of his/her profession. One of the most important tasks of a Professional Association is to protect the interests of both professionals and users, ensuring that the different professional services are provided in a context of scientific and technical reliability. In this regard the criteria that have been established since 2016, and that have allowed 55 psychologists to obtain the above-mentioned accreditation, are set out.
