In this article, the therapeutic interview is considered as a particular kind of discourse that can be analyzed at two levels: a) expressive, related to the epistemological complexity of its enunciation and b) constructive, related to the degree of socio-cognitive development it manifests. This double perspective, is based on the constructive-genetic description of Jean Piaget and his school, offers an evolutionary vision of the therapeutic interview and gives rise to an analysis model applicable to any interview, regardless of the therapist's ascription model.
