Abstract

This paper discusses the relationship between cognitive sciences and cognitive psychotherapies from the standpoint of basic and applied psychotherapy research concerning congitive representation codes, memory and representation systems, and rationality and positive biases. Finally, the paper deals with the issue of effectiveness.
