Abstract

This article presents a proposal for a brief psychological intervention (Brief Adlerian Psychotherapy) designed especially for its application in contexts of limited resources and in public health services. After a short presentation of the basic tenets of the Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler, some existent proposals for brief intervention of Adlerian therapy are commented. The article continues with the description of the authors’ own model, illustrated with a case example.
