Abstract

This article presents a case study of emotional distress which was approached from a narrative constructivist perspective. The work structure is as follows: firstly the case and the method used is contextualized, secondly the description of the client is provided, thirdly the conceptual framework guiding the therapist intervention is described, fourthly the challenges and the client goals are assessed, fifthly a treatment plan is formulated. Finally the course of the therapy is described and an evaluation of the results of the therapy is made.
