Kelly's Personal Construct Theory is gaining an ever-growing acceptance within the field of personality as well as within the field of individual psychotherapy. However, the application of Personal Construct Theory in the field of family therapy has not been fully explored. The present article considers this possibility, elaborating -as an offshoot of the sociability corollary- two new corollaries to adequately cover the group and family context. The implication for the practical apllication of these corollaries within psychotherapy is also investigated.
