The constructivism in therapy implies new challanges to psychology and to the study object. In this article the author presents four assumptions of a narrative view of constructivism: existence as knowledge, knowledge as hermeneutics; hermeneutics as narrative discourse; and narrative as culture. Each one is discussed, and the implications to a new conception of psychology and its therapeutic practices analized.
