Abstract

This article analyzes some of the common theoretical elements found between relational psychoanalysis and systemic individual psychotherapy, in particular those which make reference to the importance of the epistemological model contributed by postmodernity, to the prevailing conception about the concepts of illness and / or mental health and, consequently, the existing view about the use of psychopathological diagnosis in psychotherapy.
