An essential element at grief group workshops is emotional work since they constitute a privileged place for their expression and relieve. Objective: pilot study to gather possible emotional variation after a grief group session. Participants: 55 volunteers who attended a grief group workshop in the context of a Grief Workshop Day. It was performed a pre-experimental design with pre and post intervention measures, without control group and using a neutral face image as reference measurement. The results obtained suggest that attribution of emotions to a neutral image can be used in grief groups to measure distribution and emotional change.
