The value of experience present moment in psychotherapy for two models: integrative humanistic psychotherapy (PIH) and mindfulness based psychotherapy (PBM)
Keywords:
Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy, Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy, therapeutic relationshipAbstract
We present two models of psychotherapy (Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy and Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy) which take into account and integrate the value of being present in their interventions. We explain and analyze how each model understands this value and how to integrate it into psychotherapeutic practice. We then present the form taken by the value in the figure of the psychotherapist and the acquisition of skills that implies. At last we present several conclusions about it.Downloads
