Abstract

This article approaches the indexation of epistolary texts and its connection to the making of analytical indexes. Therefore, some of the tools used in digital human sciences will be examined, noticing the role played by the interpretation of the data we obtained. It is through the application of a model proposed for the correspondence between Elisabeth Mulder and Consuelo Berges that we will procceed to analyse, both cuantitatively and qualitatively, the universe contained in these letters. This analysis shows the historical setting of the context of two female authors from the Silver Age in their correspondence after the Spanish Civil War, as well as the influence of gender component in it and the simultaneous existence of cooperation and confrontation networks. At last, we present a set of proposals in order to transfer part of the results of the analysis of indexed data to the design of the analytical index.
