Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Manuscript submitted has not been previously published, nor submitted to another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The uploaded file is in Microsoft Word format or compatible

The manuscript does not exceed 12,000 words in the case of articles, 5,000 in the case of bibliographical essays or other collaborations and 2,500 in the case of reviews (3.500 in the case of two o more books)
The manuscript must not be less than 8,000 and not more than 12,000 words in the case of articles, between 4,000 and 5,000 in the case of bibliographic essays or other collaborations and between 1,500 and 3,000 in the case of reviews (4,000 for reviews of two or more related books). - Times New Roman 12 is used for the main text, 11 for indented quotations and 10 for footnotes. Paragraph spacing is 1,5 for the main text and single for footnotes
- The text meets with style and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which can be found in About the Journal
- If submitting to a section of the journal peer-reviewed, you have made sure that the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed
- The manuscript clearly indicates, if necessary, in which parts of the manuscript AI has been used. The use of AI is also indicated if it has been used to improve the writing of the text. The manuscript does not include images or videos generated by AI unless they are the express purpose of the research carried out. AI does not appear as a co-author of the article.
- The text is written in a way that respects inclusive and non-sexist language.
- Where relevant, a gender perspective has been incorporated into research design, methodology, and results.
Historical Researches
This section consists of original research articles which should not exceed 12.000 words.Reviews
Reviews should not exceed 2.500 word (3.500 in the case of two or more books)
