Partiendo de la experiencia académica y docente, se trata de una aproximación a la disciplina de la Historia de la Arquitectura, para lo cual se comienza por analizar la génesis de sus propios términos y la naturaleza de los objetos artísticos comprendidos como materia de la misma. Los aspectos más destacados son los siguientes: La naturaleza del objeto artístico, y en especial del arquitectónico, según los distintos procedimientos y metodologias que han ido configurando la ciencia del arte. La interpretación como via indispensable en el conocimiento del arte. Naturaleza del discurso historiográfico. Tipos de escritura en la evolución de la historiografía: de la narración biográfica (Vasari), a la historia del arte como historia de un ideal y el compromiso del lenguaje (J. J. Winckelmann).
Starting off of the academic and educational experience, is an approach to the discipline of History of the Architecture, for which I begun to analyze the génesis of its own terms and the nature of the included artistic objects like matter of the same one. The most outatanding aspects are the following ones: The nature of the artistic object, and in special of the architectonic one, according to the different procedures and methodologies that have been forming the science of the art. The interpretation like indispensable route in the knowledge of the art. Nature of the historiográfico speech. Types of writing in the evolution of the historiography: of the biographical narration (Vasari), to the history of the art like history of an ideal and the commitment of the language (J. J. Winckelmann).
