Abstract

This work presents a detailed account of the activities of the UNED students enrolled in the course “Optics" (third year of the Physics undergraduate curriculum) as a coordinated program of theory, problems and laboratory. The influence of a multiple evaluating methodology, consisting of ordinary and home examinations, assigned exercises and problems, open problems and monographic reviews as small-scale research projects, is analyzed.
