The pathogenic effects of psychotherapy

We can think of psychotherapy as a process capable of changing a person's structures of meaning for both the better and the worse. This article aims to overcome an anecdotal dimension of errors in therapy and face the pathogenic effects based on clinical observations, trying to answer three types of questions related to: a) Determine the clinical phenomenology of the pathology indicated by psychotherapy. b) Analyze first of what direct mechanisms of relationship between therapy and patient can originate. c) Detect early signs of pathogenic changes that can be used by the therapist to modify their interventions.Downloads
