Taking advantage of the 25th anniversary of the publication of Sexual Conduct. The Social Sources of Human Sexuality and, in particular, of the concept of sexual scripts, we show as individuals, specifically transgenderists, construct their experiences, their lives. It is emphasized the transgender body construction; its autonomy, which is contrasted with the point of view of the medical concept of transsexuality. The emic dimension and the autobiographies are given significance.
