Guilt, Repair and Forgiveness: clinical and therapeutic implications (II)
Keywords:
guilt, forgiveness, psychopathology, psychotherapy, repairAbstract
The notions of guilt and forgiveness have been secularized in the modern world becoming an inseparable part of the life problems, and therefore, the clinic practice. This research aims at analyzing guilt, its relevance in clinical practice and usefulness in psychotherapeutic practice. In this third part we show the possibilities that this analysis opens for psychological treatment. We analyze the dysfunctional notion associated the guilt and we review different narratives of guilt in psychotherapy. We suggest therapeutic stages and tasks to help patients change their dysfunctional strategies for others that allow them to go on with their lives.Downloads
