Abstract

The present paper is about the concept of Self-esteem, its meaning in Therapy and its interpretation through the evolution of personal growth. It aims to show the importance of taking into account the patient’s self-esteem regardless of the model used or the demand expressed. In the setting of a therapy it is fundamental to properly identify and apply the patient’s self-esteem as a variable within the therapeutic framework, in order to broaden the subject’s structure and therefore improve his or her self-esteem.
