Cecilia Böhl Faber, "Fernán Caballero", is a pioneer in the collection of traditional ballads through Andalusia in the early decades of the nineteenth century. Through his writings customs, the novelist presents a repertoire of ballads and folk songs that will be of great importance for the further study of Andalusian folklore.
