Le Corbusier conoció diferentes ciudades y pianteamientos arquitectónicos. A través de sus estudios y experiencias se planteó la arquitectura como una importante misión cultural. Pensó una nueva arquitectura que en la era de la máquina, prestase un nuevo servicio al hombre. Sería la búsqueda de la manifestación del pasado en una equivalencia para los tiempos modernos.
Le Corbusier knew different cities and ways of architecture all around the world. Through his studies and works, he saw the important cultural mission of the architecture. Architects ought to make new works for the man in the machine time. They must look for the last magnificence according to the present needs.
