Retrospective of precovid MICE tourism in Spain

Meeting, business and conference tourism, known by the term MICE, is a professional activity framed within the organization of events. And since several years, it is considered as one of the boosting agents on the rise of Spain´s tourist economy.
This reality encourages official institutions to promote and position MICE tourism through strategic plans and financial aid to the sector. Some initiatives that are being reactivated after the stoppage caused by COVID-19.
In this article we are going to know what was MICE tourism situation in Spain before the pandemic official declaration. And, at the same time, we are going to analyze the data that predicted its growth during the year 2020.
