Abstract

This article is about our hypothesis about the birth of the idea of the other and the Self in a cognitive system that lives and learns. This birth has its origin in the bonding relationship. We will present our hypothesis on the filiation of bonding and attachment relationships, which is in accordance with the motivational principle. Increasing the predictive capacity and, on the basis of these premises, we will review the traditional theories of linkage from Bowlby to the present day. Finally, we will reexamine our previous works and establish new connections between the types of relations of connection and the rules that govern the acquisition of knowledge (epistemological criteria).
